Community Engagement

Community involvement is a big part of what the Focus on Farnworth Board is all about. Our town has been given £19.5 million of Pride in Place funding to help kick‑start real, long‑lasting change. There’s still lots to do, but when we work together and look out for each other, we can make amazing things happen.  You can contact us on the email link below or why not engage with us on Facebook

A Message to Everyone in Farnworth

Lots of people in Farnworth have told us the same thing: anti‑social behaviour is a big problem. It makes people feel worried, unsafe, or fed up, and we want to help change that.

We’ve been talking with the police, and they’ve asked us to pass on something really important:

Please report every incident of anti‑social behaviour.

You can do this by:

  • Calling 101, or
  • Filling in a report online

Some people think reporting doesn’t help because they don’t always see the police turn up. But here’s the truth:

Every single report is recorded.

The police use these reports to decide:

  • How many officers to send
  • Where they should patrol
  • What problems need the most attention

If hardly anyone reports things, it looks like there’s no problem — and then Farnworth doesn’t get the help it needs.

So even small things matter. Your report helps make our town safer for everyone.
